Frequently Asked Questions

What is the procedure?

The dentist reshapes the damaged or adjacent teeth, takes an impression (or digital scan), then fits a temporary restoration. Once the lab creates your custom crown or bridge, you return for final placement and adjustments.

When do I need a crown or a bridge?

You may need a crown if a tooth is cracked, has large decay, or has undergone root canal treatment. A bridge may be needed if you’re missing one or more teeth and want to restore function and appearance.

Are there different materials to choose from?

Yes. We offer a range of material options:

  • Crowns:
Full Metal, Porcelain-Fused-to-Metal (PFM), and Full Ceramic / Zirconia

  • Bridges:
Porcelain-Fused-to-Metal (PFM) and Full Ceramic / Zirconia

Our dentist will recommend the most suitable option based on function, durability, and aesthetics.

How long do crowns & bridges last?

With good care—regular brushing/flossing, avoiding very hard or sticky foods—they can last 10 years or more. The exact lifespan depends on material, bite forces and maintenance.

What should I expect after treatment?

You might feel mild sensitivity for a short time after placement. Maintain excellent oral hygiene, and attend follow‑up visits to check fit and health of the restoration and surrounding gum/tissue.
